We had to decide on what the theme of this project was. I really wanted to do monsters but we as a class decided on making travel posters.

The Process:

1. We had to draw a letter out of a hat.

I got letter “X’

2. Research

I had to find a location that started with X.
I found alot of places but I wanted to dig further. I knew for sure that China would have alot of locations but I did not want to do the usual.
I wanted an interesting place.

3. Location

I found a place 🙂 It was Xilitla, Mexico. I had not heard of this place.  It looked really amazing.

4. I started sketching

 

 

 

5. I had my idea and I went into Indesign.

I wanted to get peoples attention so i used a vibrant color.
I also really liked the sculptures in this place so I used it to come out of the letter I was given, the X
This was to peak interest. Then I added a little paragraph to describe the imagery and inform the viewer.

The paragraph read like this:

I made more iterations that I was suppose to but I had a lot of fun making this poster.
